The minimum age to rent a car in Dubai with Pindi Boys Car Rental LLC is 22 for economy and mid-range cars, and 25 for premium, luxury and sports cars. In both cases you need to have held your driving licence for at least 1 year.

Age is set by the car category, not by where you are from. A 23-year-old tourist can rent an economy sedan; a 23-year-old resident cannot rent a supercar. The table below is the whole rule.

Can I rent a car in Dubai at 21?+

Not with us. Our minimum is 22 for economy and mid-range cars. If you are 22 or over and your licence is under 6 months old, you can still rent — full insurance becomes compulsory and a 25% surcharge applies.

Why is the minimum age 25 for luxury cars?+

Insurance for premium, luxury and sports cars is underwritten on stricter terms. That is also why the security hold and the insurance excess are higher on those cars — AED 10,000 excess on exotics versus AED 1,500 on standard cars.

Does the age rule change for tourists?+

How long must I have held my licence?+

At least 1 year. A licence under 6 months old is accepted with compulsory full insurance/CDW and a 25% surcharge.

Is there a maximum age?+

We do not publish an upper age limit. Any valid, in-date licence accepted in the UAE is fine — ask on WhatsApp if you want it confirmed for your booking.
