No Cash Deposit — and What Is Held
No cash deposit is taken on any car at Pindi Boys Car Rental. Not on the economy fleet, not on the SUVs, not on the exotics. No envelope of dirhams, and nothing blocked in your bank account.
A refundable pre-authorisation is held on a card in its place. A pre-authorisation is not a payment — the money never leaves your account, the bank simply reserves it. It is released within 21 days of returning the car, provided there are no fines or damage, and the amount that applies to your car is put in writing before you book.
Most companies advertising “zero deposit” in Dubai hold the card as well and do not mention it until you are signing. We would rather tell you now.
