No Cash Deposit — and What Is Held
No cash deposit is taken on any car at Pindi Boys Car Rental. Not on the economy fleet, not on the SUVs, not on the exotics. No envelope of dirhams, and nothing blocked in your bank account.
A refundable pre-authorisation is held on a card in its place. A pre-authorisation is not a payment — the money never leaves your account, the bank simply reserves it. It is released within 21 days of returning the car, provided there are no fines or damage, and the amount that applies to your car is put in writing before you book.
Most companies advertising “zero deposit” in Dubai hold the card as well and do not mention it until you are signing. We would rather tell you now.

Doorstep Delivery at extra cost — Anywhere in Dubai
The car comes to you. Delivery and collection are charged separately anywhere in mainland Dubai — home, hotel, office, Marina, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Downtown, Business Bay, DIFC — and usually on the same day. The delivery charge is not part of the daily rate: it is confirmed for your location before booking. And there is no counter to queue at.
That includes Dubai International: we hand the car over in the arrivals hall at DXB Terminal 1, 2 or 3. Airport delivery is charged like any other location and confirmed before you book, with no premium location fee on top. Send the flight number on WhatsApp and we track the landing, delays included. The AED 150 figure elsewhere on this site is a different service — a chauffeur meeting you and driving — not a fee on a car you drive yourself.
What You Will and Will Not Be Charged
“No hidden charges” is a slogan until someone publishes the list. Here is ours, in full.
- The daily rate — from AED 100 a day, AED 650 a week, AED 1,700 a month. Comprehensive insurance is inside it.
- VAT — 5% is added, as it is by law.
- Deposit — no cash deposit on any car. A refundable pre-authorisation is held on the card and released within 21 days of return if there are no fines or damage. On exotic cars the hold is AED 5,000 – 15,000.
- Salik — passed on at cost: AED 4–6 per gate + AED 1 admin per crossing, all + 5% VAT, which is AED 5.25 off-peak and AED 7.35 at peak per crossing, all in. Nothing is charged until the toll reaches us.
- Traffic fines — the amount charged, plus AED 50 admin per fine plus 5% VAT (AED 52.50). You get the fine number to check it yourself.
- Mileage — 250 km a day, 4,500 km a month on monthly contracts. Beyond that, extra km charged per the rental agreement.
- Insurance excess — AED 1,500 on standard cars, AED 10,000 on luxury cars and AED 15,000 on exotics, payable only if you are at fault and have declined the CDW upgrade.
- Delivery and collection — free, including DXB arrivals.
There is no airport surcharge, no young-driver fee, no cleaning charge on a normally used car and no admin fee for the contract itself. If a charge is not on this list, you will not see it on your statement.
