Airport Taxi or Fixed-Fare Transfer?
A Sharjah Airport taxi is metered. What you pay depends on the traffic on the Dubai–Sharjah corridor that day, and at peak hours that is the busiest road in the country — which is exactly when you cannot agree a price in advance. Our fare is agreed before pickup and does not move, so a slow run costs us and not you. The driver meets you inside arrivals with your name, rather than you joining the rank outside.

Sharjah Airport Car Rental — the Other Option
If you want the car for the whole trip rather than one journey, we deliver it free to SHJ arrivals. Rates start at AED 100 a day, AED 650 a week and AED 1,700 a month plus 5% VAT, with comprehensive insurance, registration, maintenance and 250 km a day included. There is no airport surcharge, no desk and no queue — the paperwork is signed digitally before you land.
Economy from AED 100 (cheap car rental), seven-seaters from AED 150 (7 seater rental), SUVs from AED 120 (SUV rental) and the luxury fleet from AED 650 (luxury car rental).
What You Pay Beyond the Fare
- VAT — 5%, added by law.
- Deposit — none in cash on a transfer. On a self-drive rental, a refundable card hold released within 21 days.
- Salik, fuel and parking — included in the transfer fare. On a self-drive rental, Salik is passed on at cost: AED 5.25 off-peak and AED 7.35 at peak per crossing.
- Fines — on a self-drive rental only, at cost plus AED 50 admin plus 5% VAT (AED 52.50).
- Child seats — AED 15 a day.
