How the teacher rate works
Send a photo of your school or university ID, or an employment letter, to Pindi Boys Car Rental on WhatsApp. We confirm the discounted monthly figure against the published rate in writing before anything is signed. The discount is 15% off the monthly rate, so an economy car at AED 1,445 a month comes down to AED 1,230 for teaching staff.
The deposit is reduced as well. There is no cash deposit on any rental; for teachers on an academic-year plan the card pre-authorisation is held at a lower figure than the standard hold. Everything else is unchanged — comprehensive insurance, unlimited mileage on monthly contracts, servicing and registration are all inside the monthly rate.
It applies to staff at UAE schools and universities: classroom teachers, teaching assistants, heads of department and administrative staff with a school ID. Nurseries and training institutes count too — send the ID and we will tell you either way rather than making you guess.
Academic-year plans (September to June)
A ten-month plan runs from the start of term in September to the end of the school year in June, at a fixed monthly figure agreed at the start. Because the term is booked in one go, the car does not have to be re-quoted every month and the rate does not move with the season.
The summer pause is the part that matters if you travel home. Tell us before you go, hand the car back, and the plan restarts in August or September without starting a new contract or paying for the months you were away. A month-to-month plan works too if your dates are not fixed yet.

All figures are in AED and exclude 5% UAE VAT. Comprehensive insurance, 250 km a day (unlimited on monthly contracts) and free delivery are included. The weekly rate is seven days at a lower per-day figure than the daily rate.
What you need to send us
- Residents: Emirates ID and UAE driving licence.
- Visitors: passport with entry stamp, visa, home licence and an International Driving Permit where your licence is not exempt.
- A card for the pre-authorisation. No cash deposit is taken; the hold is released within 21 days of return.
Photos on WhatsApp are enough to start the contract — you do not need to come to the office.
