How the Terminal A handover works

A delayed landing does not change anything: the driver waits.
The meet-and-greet fare for Zayed International is confirmed in writing before you fly rather than quoted here, because this site publishes an airport figure for Dubai International only (AED 150) and Abu Dhabi is a different run. For a chauffeured journey rather than a self-drive handover, the published Dubai to Abu Dhabi Airport fare is AED 650 one way.
Returning is the same in reverse, and the car can be dropped in Dubai instead of Abu Dhabi if your trip ends on the other side — tell us when you book and it costs nothing extra.

Why this is cheaper than the counter
Airport counters quote a low headline and add to it at the desk: an excess reduction sold as compulsory, a premium location fee for renting inside the terminal, a young-driver surcharge, and a fuel service charge. What you need to send us
- Residents: Emirates ID and UAE driving licence.
- Visitors: passport with entry stamp, visa, home licence and an International Driving Permit where your licence is not exempt.
- A card for the pre-authorisation. No cash deposit is taken; the hold is released within 21 days of return.
Photos on WhatsApp are enough to start the contract — you do not need to come to the office.
